Say ‘Hello’ to Stella Maris
 
I know I know, we said ETD June 2006. Well, buying a boat, giving up your jobs, packing up the house and cats doesn’t happen over night. So let’s bring you up to speed on what’s been happening in ‘sail the dream’ land. Miles has finally hung up his laptop after 12 years of working for the same company although, if he survives the high seas of the Med he may return to code another day. Karen has also hung up her chalks or should I say interactive whiteboard pens for the time being. We are now unemployed, homeless and catless. But in the boat department we are sorted! The last couple of weeks have passed in a blur the house was due to be rented out from 30/6. Friends and onlookers thought we’d never make it. To be honest we wondered at times, but through hard work determination and above all panic. We made it Karen and Miles have left the building, as have Perdy and Dave (cats). Although Dave did go AWOL for a couple of hours on the Friday (cat protest). Cats are now living in Devon (spending a lot of time under beds). Evil Kenny has moved across the road (he practically lived there anyway). Down to the nitty gritty we fly out on Monday the 10th July, yes you read correctly Monday the 10th July!!!!! We have packed everything including the kitchen sink (boat will probably sink). The rest of our junk, I mean prized possessions have been distributed amongst family and friends, Cheers me dears. Hopefully we’ll be speaking soon, well I will be anyway you just have to pin open your eyes and READ. Luv & Lifejackets (we are getting new ones) Karen & Miles XX
