Farewell to Sea dog

First things first it is the 4th October today we anchored for lunch and had a swim in a nice little bay. The sun has been shinning for a week now (you’d have loved this week Linda). I am still sailing in my bikini (not a sight for the faint hearted). I know you hate us. But just think in a couple of days time there will probably be storms and high winds, then you can have a quiet chuckle to yourselves, in your nice warm, cosy, safe houses.

Well the day came to say our farewells to Sea dog. He’s been with us for nearly 5 weeks! (approx 340 nm).Time just flies by when your ‘sailing the dream’.

We’ve laughed, we’ve partied, we’ve discussed and now we’ve said ‘Ahndeeo’ Greek for ‘See Ya’.

We would like to take this opportunity (all very formal) to thank Sea dog for all his help over these last weeks. Stella Maris would also like to say ‘Thank you’ for the bits and bobs you have given her in an effort to spruce her up a bit.

Also a big ‘muchas Gracias’ to Mrs Sea dog for bobs & bits (deliberate reversal) she sent out with Sea dog. Thanks once again to Mr & Mrs Mac for things they brought out for us as well.

So Sea dog, I hope your reading this, the word we are looking for is ‘ehfkhahreeesto’.

Es to ehpahneedheen (see you later) Captain Miles & Back to having to helm again Karen XX
