Second conquest - new speed record

Having returned to Olgas for breakfast the communication was not as good as last night, hot water turned into coffee and strawberry jam was in fact marmalade...
Avoiding the Australian flotilla we managed to leave the jetty in far better style than we had arrived.
We put the sails up did  couple of tacks hit the no wind zone and on went the engine again, down with the main, in with the genoa...The wind eventually filled in just as we arrived at our destination. We found a nice bay, sheltered from the newly found wind and clear of the chavs from Corfu. After lunch and a bit of a snorkle. A quick snooze and we were back under sail heading south. Our longest sail so far, took about 3 hours to Parga, we found the marina dropped the sails and managed to find a berth right next to a sunken boat, no wonder nobody else moored there... Miles managed to tell a young girl and her brother in a canoe to p*ss off as they were behind us while we were reversing, sorry Karen was reversing, with Captain Karen on the helm we eventually managed to reverse into the space with the help of a Neilson flotilla engineer without hitting our underwater neighbour. Found a taverna with a shower and had a couple of beers then went to another with a restaurant, Not bad food and then it was back to the boat, probably for another couple of glasses.

Just as we boarded we saw a cat who wanted to join us, he was not alone and wanted to bring his friend with him.  Karen thought they smelt the unopened tuna tin.   Rich started talking to them - in the hope that they were multilingual. They appeared to be much smarter than the cats we’d left at home. Their tummy does not seem to rub on the floor like a certain Bournemouth based cats that we all know and love. There are fears that the boat is going to be overun  and flee infected soon, we are counting down until tthe attack finally happens.....

Time to hit the sack, Miles and his swollen skank foot are ready to sleep although he is pretending to read the navigation charts, we all know he’s snoozing...

Hoping to keep the pussycat pirates at bay,,,
